This programme is accredited by the CPD Standards Office, aligned to the NHS Education for Scotland ‘National Trauma Transformation Programme’ framework and tailored specifically for education staff.

Participants will develop their understanding of the trauma and its impact on child development, as well as how it can present in pupils in school settings. The course is designed to encourage staff to reflect on their own practice and provides strategies and resources to support children affected by trauma in school (both in terms of learning and supporting behaviour).

This session has been developed by a teacher, with classroom practice in mind.

Delivery can be adapted to suit your needs (online/in-person and 1 x 3hr or 2 x 90 mins depending on your collegiate calendar).
